i have a five-year-old backpack that has recently grown mold because it has been a very wet summer and i kept the bag in a rather moist place without moving it around a lot. it honestly has a lot of grey and white mold on it. the mold is in both inside compartments and all over the outside. i honestly wouldn’t mind getting a new one at this point considering how gross it currently looks and smells, but my parents told me that if i just wash the bag it will be fine (aka sanitary and not visually frightening). what should i do?

I will be in Japan this December, starting in Tokyo and more than likely traveling to a few other cities. I want to pack as light as possible to avoid having to cart big luggage with me onto trains and subways. Thanks in advance.

So, i’m about to be a high school freshman in a couple moths and wanted to know what the kind or the best backpack I should look into getting. I’m thinking about a drawstring/sack back pac, but wanted some opinions

my school uniform is white, Grey, and different shades of blue polo’s. and i was going to let my friend draw something really cool on the backpack. should i still get it?

I know, my question is a bit strange but I really do not know what bag should I buy… The books, this school year, are going to be kinda big, so I need a big bag.. I don’t care about the price.. I just want a big schoolbag.. like kipling.. So I need your opinion…

Typically, a 55 litre is the minimum size people use backpacking. 60-65 is average I would say but it depends what kind of volunteering you are doing as you may need to take more clothes if you need to look smart or if you’re going to get dirty/sweaty…
Remember you can also buy stuff out there so try and take as little as possible.
